padSyringa patula 'Miss Kim'

'Miss Kim' will perfume your June garden with heavenly lilac fragrance! This Manchurian lilac cultivar is a compact, dense shrub that grows 4-7 feet tall with similar spread. Takes average, well drained soil, even moisture and lots of sun. ‘Miss Kim’ is among the latest of lilacs to bloom in early summer, with sweetly scented orchid-pink flowers. The dark green leaves often turn an attractive burgundy in autumn. This is a low maintenance plant with mildew-resistant foliage. ‘Miss Kim’ is good for shrub borders and foundation plantings, and makes an exceptional large hedge or natural screen. Grow in full sun for the most flowers. Deer resistant. Zone 3.
