padCampanula x 'Sarastro'

Imagine 18-inch tall spikes of large (2 ˝ inches long!) pendant icy-grape flowers over a vigorous but well-behaved mat of foliage! This is sarastro bellflower, sometimes described as a shorter, non-leaning version of the fine Campanula ‘Kent Belle.’ Bellflowers are sometimes tricky in our acid soils, but ‘Sarastro’ always blooms prolifically in May and June, with sporadic repeat blooms throughout the summer and early fall if deadheaded. Plant with white Siberian iris, daisies and peonies for a glorious full-sun to part-shade display. Zone 5.

1 Gallon.
